60% of readers already have a smart meter connected in their homes

Relatively recently, people started to hear about smart meters. However, there is still a part of the Portuguese population that does not know very well what it is about, much less is aware of whether or not they already have it connected in their homes.

So, in our last weekly question, we wanted to know if our readers already have a smart meter connected in their homes. And it seems that most already have this system. So let’s see all the results.

Do you already have a smart meter connected to your home?

After finishing last week's question, now follows the disclosure of all the results through the analysis of the 2,306 responses obtained.

According to the results, most readers answered yes to the question and confirms that they already have a smart meter connected in their home (1,379 votes). In turn, 40% responded that they DO NOT have this service yet (327 votes).

This question led to several comments and emails sent to Pplware where some people wanted to share their experience with smart meters. In some situations, users complain that they don't have a smart meter yet, but would like to have one. Others, in turn, report some bad experiences with these devices, in the sense that they are not properly and automatically communicating the readings to the operators. There are also those who are happy with the service, which makes life easier, namely with regard to the act of giving electricity readings.
