New electric charging point in Vila Velha de Rodão
There is a new charging point for electric vehicles on the Beira Interior Highway (A23). The equipment is already installed in the Vila Velha de Rodão service area and should start operating soon. According to data obtained by Pplware, the electric charging point belongs to the Galp Electric network.
Galp has always played a leading role in electric mobility in Portugal and currently has the largest network of fast charging points, as revealed by the company.
The Electric Mobility Network is the integrated set of charging points for energy-powered vehicles in public and private access spaces, which currently has over 1,250 charging points (sockets).
According to the company, the normal charging points They are ideal for medium and long-term stays. To charge 100km of autonomy in your electric vehicle, the charging time may vary between 1 – 4 hours (22 kW and 3.7 kW respectively).
You fast charging points, 50 kW, allow you to charge 100 km of autonomy in your car in a period between 15 and 20 minutes.
You ultra fast charging points allow you to charge 100km of autonomy in your car in a period between 6 and 8 minutes (160kW and 120kW, respectively). Can find here all charging points.
