Amazon Fire TV: Video shows previously unknown function

Films, series and also music are included Amazon’s Fire TV Stick easily transferrable to the big screen. All you have to do is connect the device to a television with an HDMI connection. What works with new devices without any problems apparently also works with an old tube television.

Amazon shows: Fire TV Stick makes tubes smart

Turning a TV from the 1980s into a smart TV doesn’t seem to be all that complicated. At least according to Amazon, something like this can be done with a Fire TV stick, Scart or VGA connection and the appropriate adapter.

The group has published a video on YouTube. It shows a 1984 Nordmende tube television with the Amazon Prime menu displayed in pale colors on the curved screen.

Amazon does not offer detailed instructions on how the construct with old TV and Fire TV stick is put together. But at least the necessary components are summarized in the clip, which is only 22 seconds long.
