With great exploration in the virtual world, the amazon is now seeking more space in physical locations. The company recently announced the first unit of Amazon Style, your first physical store with clothes. The first location to receive the store will be The Americana at Brand mall, which is located in Los Angeles, California. The opening is expected to take place by the end of 2022.

The brands that will be available in the physical store have not yet been announced, but, according to the company, the products were chosen by a curatorship with members of the fashion, with the help of feedback provided by the users of the Amazon.com website.

In an interview with CNBC, the managing director of Amazon Style, Simoina Vasen, guarantees that the store will be able to serve customers of all budgets, with varied prices. “You’ll find everything from the $10 basics to the designer jeans and the timeless $400 piece,” revealed Vasen.

Technology when shopping

At physical store from Amazon, to try on clothes, the consumer will not need to carry items from one side to the other or manually look for each product/size desired.

Customers will be able to use an app to choose items with different sizes and colors. Thus, after scanning the QR code of a particular item, the user will be able to determine whether to try on the piece or pick it up at the store counter.

Directly from the technology fitting room, customers will be able to order new parts for employees through a touchscreen, without having to leave the place.

To make payments, the buyer can still use Amazon One palm recognition or other conventional means.
