All information is converging for the public presentation, within a few months, of iOS 16. Although the Cupertino company continues to develop new versions of its operating systems, it has not stopped moving forward with current versions as well. So, Apple has now released beta 5 of iOS 15.6, iPadOS 15.6, tvOS 15.6, macOS 12.5 and watchOS 8.7.

The novelties for these beta versions are practically null, in the eyes of the user. However, we should be close to a final version.

iOS 15.6 beta 5 comes to fix small bugs

Apple hasn't added many new features in iOS 15. In fact, these are the latest big news that the company has brought to iOS 155:

Here's what Apple announced with iOS 15.5 earlier this month:

  • Wallet app updates and new handy HomePod feature;
  • Support for applications with external purchases;
  • Integration of Bancomat and Bancontact entities in Apple Pay;
  • Rename provided in iTunes Pass in Wallet app;
  • System functionality that will block “Sensitive Locations” for Memories in the Photos app;
  • security fixes

now the current version of iOS 15.6 beta 5 is 19G5063a. As we have been able to witness, these versions do not bring, at least visibly, any important feature.

Focus is now on iOS 16

On June 22nd, Apple made iOS 16 beta 2 available to developers but also beta two for iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9 and tvOS 16.

Therefore, Apple is preparing two versions simultaneously to serve a wide range of equipment.
