THE AirPods Pro are below the betting price we have seen since the beginning of the year. Apple’s best-sounding headphones are currently 30% off and up to $175, which is $5 less than the previous sale price. We probably won’t see the $159 Black Friday return for some time, so this discount is worth considering if you need a new pair of headphones or want to give them to someone special on Valentine’s Day.

The AirPods Pro earned a score of 87 from us when it first came out, and while it didn’t receive the series of upgrades that the basic AirPods did a few months ago, they now come with a MagSafe charging case. That means you’ll be able to use them with magnetic chargers that also work with the latest iPhones.

These remain the AirPods to get if you care as much about sound quality as convenience. Along with a built-in amplifier, they support Adaptive EQ, which automatically tunes frequencies to each user’s ear. Active noise cancellation is solid too, and you can switch in and out of Transparency mode whenever you need to participate in a conversation. They also provide arguably the best fit of any AirPods, thanks to the interchangeable ear tips (although the improvements Apple has made to the fit of the AirPods). Third generation AirPods should not be forgotten).

You’re also getting Apple’s H1 chip inside the AirPods Pro, which allows for things like hands-free Siri and quick pairing and switching between iOS and Mac devices. you can easily switch from answering a call on your iPhone to listening to music from your Mac. As far as battery life goes, you can expect around five hours of use before the Pros need to be recharged, and with the case you should get up to 24 hours of total listening time.
