Several Apple sound products are for sale now on Amazon, including the AirPods Max and AirPods Pro, but the best deal is on the second-gen AirPods. They’re now on sale for just $100 or 37% off, the second best deal we’ve seen since Black Friday.
The second-generation AirPods lack the active noise cancellation of the higher-end models, but they still offer solid sound quality and good battery life — up to five hours and a few charges with the included case. The biggest benefit is available to Apple users as the H1 chipset allows you to connect in seconds and quickly switch between an iPhone, iPad and MacBook. The biggest difference with the latest 3rd generation AirPods is the improved comfort for more users on the latest model.
Meanwhile, the AirPods Pro are on sale for $180, or 28% off the regular price. They are Apple’s best sounding headphones, offering great clarity, refined bass tones and Apple’s Dolby Atmos spatial audio. Active noise cancellation (ANC) is highly effective, blocking out enough noise that you don’t have to turn the sound up excessively. Battery life is solid too, with up to 4.5 hours of charge with ANC enabled. Other features include a transparency mode so you can chat with others, touch controls, and the ability to quickly switch between Apple devices.
Finally, Apple’s AirPods Max headphones are on sale for $449 ($100 off the regular price) in Sky Blue only (shown above). If you’re good at it, they offer excellent balanced sound, very effective active noise cancellation, and built-in controls. You’ll also get Apple ecosystem benefits like simple pairing and spatial audio. They also offer solid battery life. We’ve seen a lower price on Woot, but returns and purchases are more straightforward with Amazon and it’s still a significant discount.
