THE aqara is a Chinese company known for its smart home devices that just announced its newest smart lock ‘Smart Door Lock A100 Pro‘. The company’s model offers several protection and security features but stands out for being the first lock in China to support Apple Home Key.
In total, the device offers support for up to seven different ways for the user to be able to open the door of the house, being fingerprint, password, Bluetooth, NFC, emergency key, time-based password and HomeKit. The features present in the lock promise a very high level of security, an example of this is the fingerprint reader, which is of “financial level” and that has recognition rates that reach 98.6%.

However, this feature does not work with all devices in the apple, with the manufacturer only supporting devices iPhone XS or higher updated to iOS 15 and Apple Watch Series 4 or higher with the system updated to the watchOS 8.
THE Aqara Smart Door Lock A100 Pro works through a powered by 8 AA batteries, which is able to offer up to 540 days connected without any problems. The smart lock went on sale in China for 2,299 yuan, and the manufacturer has not said whether it will launch it in other markets.
