Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) developer Krafton is releasing a new update for the popular battle royale game. As previously announced, the Spider-Man: No Way Home theme is the highlight of the update. The latest 1.8.0 update brings UI improvements, allowing players to quickly pick a desired match. With the update, players can enjoy the new Livik: Aftermath theme until February 14th. Once the new version is installed, the rating and normal match will be displayed separately. The update also adds automatic tagging. Along with new features, the update also comes with some improvements to the existing elements of the game. Some players have flagged issues related to the January update, and the company has offered a fix.

Krafton on Friday announced the release of the version 1.8.0 update for Battlegrounds Mobile India. The Android and iOS update will bring Spider-Man: No Way Home Theme mode and Aftermath game mode to players. It now has a separate matching mode. As a result, season level points will be reflected in ranked matchmaking, and season level points will not be affected if the player plays in normal matchmaking. Krafton has added some UI changes to help users easily choose their desired match.

Another highlight in the new update, the Livik: Aftermath mode can only be played in normal correspondence. This will not detract from the season’s tire point. In Livik: Aftermath: Firearm and Scope mode, players can take down enemies with auto fire. Players will get zip lines for quick movement around the map with the new version. Also, there will be a communication tower to save fallen teammates.

BGMI players can see new supply stores on the map in classic mode, where they can exchange looted coins for supply items. Version 1.8.0 will have an indicator showing the next supply crate location. Revive objects to summon defeated companions will be displayed on the map. Players need to retrieve the ID cards from the crates of the defeated teammates in order to revive them.

The new update 1.8.0 brings improvements to firearms. The update also has some fixes. The issue with firing direction and aiming varied by screen resolution, and bullet spread issues have been fixed. BGMI will now allow KO players to swim in water. Also, in the new version, the name of the location on the map will be displayed in three dimensions.

Auto tag to find enemies and auto jump with ping are the other new features acquired by the update. In addition, the company has added improvements to the receipt and outcome of reporting cheaters. It will provide rewards for players with high merit levels.

After installing the January update, some users are experiencing issues with the game. Krafton has highlighted two problems and offered a fix for them. Users are recommended to contact in-game customer service in case of inconsistencies by tapping the arrow in the lower right corner of the lobby > Settings > Basic > Customer Service.
