5G is coming across the country
The 5G signal on the 2.3 GHz frequency was made available in December 2021, in Brasília and São Paulo. According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Communications, the 5G network will reach all Brazilian capitals during the year 2022. In addition, the ministry is studying distributing 5G through public lighting poles, which should significantly accelerate the implementation of 5G across all regions of Brazil.
It is important to note that 5G will not reach the entire national territory in 2022. To cover all regions, including isolated locations, will take a few years. Forecasts indicate that the coverage plan for all regions of the country will only be completed in 2029.
