S22 Ultra display issue at maximum settings

According to reports from users of the S22 Ultra, in most cases the problem only happens when 120 Hz refresh rate and WQHD+ resolution is enabled. The solution found by the owners of the model equipped with the SoC Exynos 2200 is to change the screen’s “natural” setting to a “vivid” color setting. If the problem persists, it is still advised to reduce the resolution to FHD+. Check image of the bug.

The scrambled and unprocessed pixels bug is often caused by hardware. But a user reported the same issue in a second Galaxy S22 Ultra. From the reports that only appear in the smartphones equipped with the Exynos 2200, it’s hard not to imagine that it’s a hardware problem. And nobody wants a problem like that in one cell phone which costs more than 1,000 Euros (R$ 5,772.65). In Brazil, the line Galaxy S22 is equipped with the SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and starts at R$9,499.

Galaxy S22 Ultra specs

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a built-in S Pen, with space to store it on your smartphone. The new version of the S Pen brings improved sensors to bring more fluidity to the drawn lines. As expected, the S22 series smartphones arrive with Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Here in Brazil, the version with the chip from Qualcomm.

In terms of cameras, the top of the line S22 Ultra will have a 108 MP main lens with technology SuperClear. The rest of the quadruple set is formed by a 12 MP ultra wide and two 10 MP teles: one with 3x zoom and the other 10x. THE Samsung also created Nightography, a technology for better capturing of night photos, which also takes advantage of the new SuperClear lens. For Nightography, the manufacturer designed a camera with a higher light input, allowing it to show more detail and capture color, even in the dark. The camera stabilizer has also been improved to work better at night. Still on the cameras side, the South Korean updated the camera app so that it works better on Instagram, Snapchat (yes it still exists) and TikTok apps.

O S22 Ultra It has a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED QuadHD display, 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 1,750 nits brightness. The Ultra model will also have a reduction in RAM: now there will only be the option of 8GB or 12GB. Its battery will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh. There is still no price announced for Brazil, but abroad it will be launched with a base price of US$ 1,199.
