C-DAYS 2022 is on its second day today, with a very interesting agenda. C-DAYS was designed to share knowledge, promote debate, identify trends and generate opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.
In a presentation made by Pedro Machado, it was revealed that there are Portuguese companies with vulnerabilities detected 23 years ago and have not yet been corrected.
The 8th edition of C-DAYS, dedicated to the theme “Betting on Prevention”, has already started and Pplware will present the main topics under debate. After a day with some revelations, of which the fact that the number of incidents increased by 26% in 2021, compared to 200, stands out, today we will have another agenda full of excellent topics.

Vulnerabilities detected several years ago have not yet been corrected in companies
On the national scene, Pedro Machado revealed that there are companies/institutions, without mentioning names, that have vulnerabilities that were discovered 23 years ago. In the list with the most vulnerabilities, there are telecommunications companies, universities, municipalities, factories, Public Administration, ICT and media providers.
The AGEAS speaker also drew attention to Konrad Lorenz's model/pyramid where various stages for a concentration program are described.
On the event's website, it is possible to know that in this edition there will be more than 40 national and international speakers with panels in areas such as: Risks and Conflicts, Public Policies, Economy, Innovation and Future Technologies.
