When we talk about the graphics card market, the models we are familiar with are mainly those from Nvidia, which quietly leads this sector, and also those from AMD. But Intel didn’t just want to stay for the race in the world of processors and, as such, attacked the graphics sector with its new line of Arc GPUs.
So, in our question this week, we want you to give us your opinion: Can Intel Arc graphics cards compete with Nvidia and AMD models? Participate!
Can Intel Arc graphics compete with Nvidia and AMD GPUs?
It was roughly a year ago that the technological information channels began to gradually reveal the new line of graphics cards from a different brand than Nvidia or AMD. The giant Intel, which until now was mainly dedicated to the field of processors, also wanted to focus on the world of graphics and, therefore, the Intel Arc range was born.
As usual, until official details were released, several rumors were providing data about the possible characteristics of these North American manufacturer's GPUs, with many of these data comparing the Intel Arc graphics to the GeForce and Radeon models of the now rivals Nvidia and AMD, respectively.
The Arc A380 model was the first to hit the market, having already been customized by the ASRock brand. In turn, the brand has also officially announced the Arc A750 graphics chip, which claims to be faster than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. In turn, some unofficial tests also indicate that this model is faster than the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. There are also some benchmarks that put the as-yet-unannounced Arc A770 model close to the level of the GeForce RTX 2060 graphics.
So, in our question this week, we want you to tell us if you think the new Intel Arc graphics cards can compete with the Nvidia and AMD models. You can vote in the poll we left below.
