  4. Snapchat may alert you that your contact will see that you deleted the snap.

But keep in mind: Sometimes deleting your contacts may not work if they have an old version of Snapchat or a bad internet connection.

Delete a snap from a created story

Shared a snap in a story but don’t want anyone or more people to see it? Then don’t panic, because you can delete the snap in that case too. This is how it works:

  1. Tap your profile picture above.
  2. Tap the story name to see individual snaps.
  3. Tap the snap to view it.
  4. Tap the trash can button to delete the snap.
