With cybersecurity at the top of the most talked about topics in recent times, training / knowledge is undoubtedly one of the best “weapons” in times of “digital war”. And on social media, do you think there are no threats? Are you aware of the dangers?

The National CyberSecurity Center (CNCS) has launched the Cibersocial Citizen course that will help you to recognize the risks and be more careful for a more conscious use of social networks. The course is free and entitles you to a certificate.

Cybersocial Citizen Course lasts 3 hours

Are you careful when using social media? Do you know the main risks you find in this type of platform? Are you aware of the precautions you should take to reduce these risks in the use of social networks? It was in order to clarify users that the CNCS course launched the Cibersocial Citizen course.

The use of social networks has increased sharply in recent years, but this use carries some risks. Account cybersecurity needs to be improved and help ensure user privacy.

According to CNCS, this course allows for a better understanding of social networks and their risks, as well as best practices to mitigate these risks. It is an interactive course, which seeks to appeal to all people who use social networks or want to know this world better. The course is prepared and recommended for teenagers from 14 years old.

At the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Know the main types of social networks;
  • Identify the most common risks in each type of social network;
  • Apply the best security and privacy practices in the use of social networks.

After completing all modules of the “Cybersocial Citizen” course, participants can download the respective Certificate of Completion. It will only be necessary to respond to all activities with a minimum percentage of 75% of correct options.
