Being the third consecutive year in which it takes place, DreamsCom is already a success story. We will see …
Available in 2020, Dreams is an application developed by Media Molecule that allows the creation of games in a relatively simple and fast way.
Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Dreams is an exclusive product for PlayStation consoles and has seen its acceptance and use grow by the community. So much so that in the past few years there have already been two exhibitions in which games developed using this powerful tool were presented.
According to the numbers revealed to us, so far, the Dreams community has created more than 700,000 experiences, of which 100,000 are playable: from video game levels, musical and artistic compositions, to music videos and other audiovisual experiences. All these creations demonstrate the collaborative and creative potential of this unprecedented title.
I believe these are very interesting numbers for a tool of this type and reveal to a certain extent the success of Dreams as a creative platform.
This year 2022, it has now been confirmed, the third edition of DreamsCom will take place, that is, DreamsCom 2022.
To celebrate the announcement, Media Molecule revealed a new trailer where it reveals some creations and artistic styles that demonstrate the versatility of the tool and also the originality of the community.
DreamsCom 2022, which will start on the 26th of July, will be the continuation of a second edition in which the community of Dreams, an extraordinary digital amusement park where everything is possible that was developed by Media Molecule, gathered to enjoy the best creations arts, experiences and video games. In addition, DreamsCom 2022 will also feature interviews with some of the creators and, among other things, demos.
Remember that Dreams is available both at the usual points of sale and on the PlayStation Store, where a free demoPEGI 12.
