Did you notice that there was an update of the electricity tariffs? Since July 1st, there have been new prices with regard to Network Access Fees. Regarding the decrease in value, the tariffs applicable to electric mobility, self-consumption and storage are included.

In the case of electric mobility, it means a reduction, on average, of 3 cents per kWh, both in Medium Voltage (MT) and in Low Voltage (LV). This price drop benefits users of the Public Charging Network.

The justification given by ERSE, according to the UVEfor this update of prices and tariffs for electricity, it is the “climbing of prices in the wholesale electricity markets”, which ends up having “a strong impact on the permitted income of some regulated activities and should cause significant deviations from the approved values through Directive No. 3/2022, of 7 January, and Directive No. 8/2022, of 11 April, which updated prices”.

For example, the two-hour tariff, in off-peak hours, drops by €0.0364/kWh (the value was €0.0528/kWh in MT and €0.0663/kWh in BT).

As another example, for the three-hour peak hour tariff, the reduction is €0.0373/kWh (the value was €0.1326/kWh in MT and €0.1476/kWh in BT).

TARs apply to electrical energy delivered in the electric mobility network to users of electric vehicles and are defined annually by ERSE.
