Tesla CEO Elon Musk is now Twitter’s largest single shareholder and therefore has a say in decisions. However, ideas have not stopped coming up and not all of them seem to be the best, as is the case with the most recent ones.

The multimillionaire even suggested the name of the platform to change.

Before, Elon Musk chose Twitter for announcements related to his companies, as well as to direct criticism to the most varied entities. However, now, as a leading voice within the social network company, he can also put into practice the ideas that come to him for the platform. If some of these ideas please users, others don't.

As usual, it is not known for sure if the tweets are a mere opinion, or if they will serve as an idea for future changes.

Between April 9 and 10, the Tesla CEO shared a set of tweets where he made some suggestions for features to be changed or added to the social network. For example, he hypothesized that users who subscribe to the Twitter Blue have access to automatic verification – this, in turn, should be different for users with some relevance, public figures and official accounts. In addition, these subscribers should also stop receiving ads.

In another tweet, Elon Musk suggested that payment for Twitter Blue subscriptions should be made through the cryptocurrency Dogecoin. More than that, he questioned users, probably in a jocular tone, regarding the removal of the “w” from the word Twitter.

Effectively, it is not possible to know if the publications will go from mere polls to real changes. However, knowing the ideas that go through Elon Musk's head can avoid surprises when updating the social network.
