Fortnite may be in a new chapter, but Epic Games wants to bring back the past in a number of ways. To start, the developer added decidedly scalable Toothless (Klombos)-type monsters that traverse the map. You can use the vents on their heads to fly away from chasing rivals and feed them fruit (Klomberries) to get items. They are normally peaceful, but can be provoked into a frenzy.

Latest update also revives Tilted Towers, no doubt Fortnitebest known location. While there appear to be some cosmetic changes, you’ll get a chance to revisit the sniper clock tower, scour restaurants for loot, and take a nostalgic trip. While we’d expect this to be a hot drop zone for at least a little bit (i.e. don’t expect it to last long), it might be worth a visit to see an iconic area that hasn’t been available for two years.

Whatever your travel plans, you should be aware of some minor gameplay-related updates. The grenade launcher has returned with more direct fire and projectiles that explode after the first jump. And if you’re skilled enough to earn more than 99 Crowned Victory Royales, the corresponding Crowning Achievement emote now displays that number. Your bragging rights remain intact and you may have the weapon you need to back them up.
