August 2nd was indicated as the beginning of the availability of vouchers for the purchase of free school textbooks on the MEGA platform for 1st, 8th and 11th grade students.

To benefit from free school textbooks, parents must register with www.manuaisescolares.pt or through the Edu Rede Escolar app (android, iOS). In the first access, it will be necessary to confirm the taxpayer number (NIF), and the parents must have with them the access data to the Finance Portal so that the validation can be carried out. If they do not have the data, they must request it through the Finance Portal.

Check that your child's school year vouchers have already been issued
The Mega platform now has a feature that allows you to check if your student's school year vouchers have already been issued. Only Groups and Schools with issued vouchers are available.
To do so, simply indicate the Group of Schools, the School and a list will appear with the vouchers already issued.
Only students attending public education or private education establishments with an association contract are entitled to free textbooks. The 2022/2023 school year starts between the 13th and 16th of September.
