Nvidia is the undisputed leader in the graphics card segment. And after the great success that the RTX 30 line managed to have among users, the North American company is now preparing the launch of its new RTX 40 range.

In this way, and according to the information revealed, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 model could even be the first of the entire line to hit the market. Hopefully, the shortage of components won’t affect the availability of these new chips as much as it did with the current generation ones.

Just over a year ago, we reported about the creation of a GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with 12 fans, by the hands of a user as a joke on April 1st. But now we are getting closer and closer to getting to know that same model, but in its real version.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 will be the first RTX 40 model to arrive

According to the latest rumors, the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card will be the first to arrive from Nvidia's new RTX 40 lineup and will thus mark the company's new era of GPUs. If confirmed, then the brand is betting everything with the launch of the top-of-the-range model first, which should offer a significant performance improvement compared to any other graphics card that is currently available on the market. The information even indicates that the RTX 4090 will be twice as fast as the current one flagship RTX 3090.

On the other hand, this is not good news for consumers who bought the newcomer GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, as with the launch of the new model, the last chip in the RTX 30 line will be practically obsolete.

According to the details, the new Nvidia model should be announced as early as next July, and the launch could take place in mid-August. In turn, the GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 models are expected to hit shelves in September this year.

According to the information, the GeForce RTX 4090 is expected to be based on the AD102 graphics chip, with the new Ada Lovelace architecture, produced in TSMC's 5nm manufacturing process and with 18432 CUDA cores.

The RTX 4080 model will have the AD103 chip and 10752 CUDA cores, the RTX 4070 will have 7680 CUDA cores, the RTX 4060 will have 4608 and the RTX 4050 will have 3072 of these cores.
