With the Oscar awards, the public can see which were the best films and actors/actresses of the previous year. On the other hand, the worst movie productions are also released every year. In 2021, for example, the criticized musical cats (2020) was the winner in the worst film category.
At the Golden Raspberry 2022, among the worst productions, the films stand out Diana: The Musicalwith 9 total nominations (including worst picture, actor and actress), Karenwhich has 5 nominations (including worst picture, actress, screenplay and director), The Woman at the Windowwith 5 nominations (including worst picture, actress and director) and the sequel to Space Jamwith 4 nominations (including worst picture, actor and couple).
Not even the British feature Gucci Housenominated in 3 categories at BAFTA 2022, escaped criticism, the actor Jared Leto is up for two categories, worst supporting actor and worst couple. Other celebrities like Amy Adams (The Woman in the Window) and Megan Fox (Midnight on Switchgrass) are up for Worst Actress.
In addition to the traditional ones, the award will have a new category dedicated to Bruce Willis, in “homage” to the actor’s bad films last year, called Worst Bruce Willis Performance in a Movie of 2021.
