Some think thatgoogle voice assistant doesn’t offer as many benefits or uses as Apple’s Siri voice assistant.

However, it has a variety of features which have increased in size after the new Android 12 update.

Here are some amazing methods that you can use with all the different versions of Android and different phones, so don’t worry about your phone being supported.

1- Read the articles aloud

This feature works exclusively with Google internet browsing apps i.e. Chrome browser, Google News app, or Google search app.

All you have to do is go to the article you want read over the phone, then ask it directly to start reading. You can also ask him to read the article using one of the following commands: Read – Read this page – Read aloud.

You will find a special bar for the new audio file or article player that appears at the bottom of the article, in addition to the tools to control the playback process in the notification bar. And you can control the output audio file like you control any audio file or music track you play on the phone.

2- Know the shipping percentage

The Google voice assistant can tell you the percentage of charge of your phone directly by following your voice commands. You can also use this command through speakers or smart displays compatible with Google Assistant.

All you have to do is ask the assistant for your phone’s battery percentage and the assistant will tell you about it directly.

3- Find the phone

You can point the command to Google Assistant by saying Where is my phone and it will then directly display your phone’s location.

It works regardless of how many devices you have that are signed in to your Google Account. So you will find that it shows multiple phones together or multiple devices together.

4- Put the phone in silent mode

You can make the phone automatically go into silent mode by directing a command to the Google Assistant, and you can say Silence My phone.

And automatically, the phone goes into silent mode immediately after this command. It also works with any phone or speaker that’s connected to the Google Assistant.

5- Share the location

You can share your location directly or know your exact location on the map using voice assistant commands.

And you can order Where Am I to show you where you are on the map right in a little window – and it shows that from Google Maps, of course. You can also use the Share my location command to share your location with any contact you want directly.

6- Take a screenshot

Google Voice Assistant can take a screenshot right from your screen without you having to hold the phone or press any screenshot buttons.

All you have to do is say Take screenshot, and it will take the screenshot and display it on your phone and store it there.

7- Take a photo with the camera

The assistant can take a photo of you using the phone’s front or back camera, and all you have to do is select the type of photo you want. You can ask it to take a photo with the front camera by saying Take Selfie or take a photo with the rear camera by saying Take Photo.

You can also add a timer before taking the photo, so that you are ready to take the photo, however you want and for the time or period you want.

8- Activate silent noise

Sometimes you may need to play quiet noises or soft music so that you can work quietly in a crowded place.

You can do this without holding the phone by directing the control to your voice assistant via the Play control and then remembering what kind of music you want, whether it’s white noise, soft music, music sound. water, etc.

9- Access the wizard parameters

You can’t get to voice assistant settings easily or quickly because you need to go to the Google app or the Assistant app.

But thanks to the assistant’s settings control, through the Google voice assistant, you can quickly access its settings app.

10- Repeat what the assistant said

If you use Google’s voice assistant in a language other than your native language like English or other languages, you may have trouble understanding what it said, especially if it spoke quickly or if the phone was far away and you didn’t hear it correctly.

You can point the Can You Repeat command at the voice assistant to repeat what he said in different modes, so if you ask him to repeat it louder, it either turns the volume up or slows it down.

11- Prevent the assistant from responding

Google Voice Assistant sometimes works without directly commanding it because it knows some voice commands. As a result, you can find it immediately operational while chatting with a friend or colleague. However, you can silence it by giving it the following command: It wasn’t for you.

This is also an important story that you should remember so that you can make the assistant silent when it is working automatically.
