Google is considered as the best search engine by most readers

When we talk about search engines, naturally some options come to our mind that stand out the most. But in this sector there are already several alternatives, designed to better please and satisfy the needs and tastes of each user.

So, in our last weekly question, we wanted to know what the best search engine was for our readers, and the big winner remains Google. However, it was chosen by fewer users compared to the results obtained in the same question posed in 2018. So let’s get to know all the results.

What do you think is the best search engine today?

After finishing last week's question, now follows the disclosure of all the results through the analysis of the 2,313 responses obtained.

According to the results, the vast majority of readers who participated, with 75% of the votes chose Google as the best search engine today (1,739 votes). In turn, 15% consider DuckDuckGo as the best search engine (344 votes). With fewer votes are Bing (2%; 45 votes), Startpage (2%; 42 votes), Yandex (1%; 23 votes), WolfgramAlpha (1%; 17 votes), Yahoo! (0%; 6 votes) and Quora (0%; 4 votes).

Already 4% of readers voted for the 'Other' option.

These results are slightly different from those obtained in the same question carried out in 2018. On that date, 83% chose Google and 10% chose DuckDuckGo. That is, although it continues to lead, the technological giant's search engine seems to have lost some ground to other alternatives, namely for the duck service.
