Google invests $9.5 billion in the US
According to information provided by the agency Reuters, Google said this Wednesday (13) that it will invest this year 9.5 billion dollars (~8.7 billion euros) in its offices and data centers in the US. Google is therefore investing in an attempt to regain some normalcy and trying to bring its employees back to offices in the US, UK and Asia-Pacific regions. As such, the brand intends for workers to return to offices for around 3 days a week, as a way of gradually ending policies that allow employees to work remotely from their homes due to measures against the COVID-19 pandemic. 19.
In addition to this strategy, the company certainly intends that the investment now applied will help its continued growth and innovation.
