To ensure that the Google News homepage is really user-friendly, users can customize the topics displayed. This new feature makes it simple to navigate the page and choose the stories that matter most. The user can thus add, remove or reorder topics.

To help you make more informed value judgments about the information you find online, the Verified Information section of Google News has been expanded to provide more context. In addition to the titles, the reader can now see the original claim alongside verified information from independent organisations.
