Honor, which was sold by Huawei in November 2020announced the launch in China of its new Honor 60 SE smartphone. The device has as highlights the 120Hz screen, the Dimensity 900 chip and the 8GB of RAM, which should allow users to use several applications at the same time without affecting performance too much.
The company’s new smartphone features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution of 120Hz refresh rate and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Although the detailed specifications have not yet been disclosedit is already known that the device comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip with eight cores, 8GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB of internal storage capacity and a 4,300mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.

Regarding the set of cameras, which includes a rear module with a design that resembles that used by some models of Apple’s iPhone line, the device has a 16MP front camera for selfies and three rear cameras, with the main one being a 64MP. The other two should be an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth detection.

Regarding connectivity options, Honor confirmed that the Honor 60 SE smartphone comes with support for 5G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and USB Type-C port. The operating system is Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11.

According to Honor, the Honor 60 SE smartphone it’s on pre-sale in China in silver, black and green with MSRPs of 2,199 yuan (US$345) for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and for 2,499 yuan (US$392) for the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The availability of the device is scheduled for the 17th of February.
