SOEDESCO and Spanish independent studios Indigo Studios recently revealed a trailer for their upcoming game, Charon’s Staircase.

It is a title full of suspense and horror in the first person.

Spanish independent studios Indigo Studios are developing Charon's Staircase, a mystery horror game set in the 70s of the last century.

The game presents a first-person perspective, in order to make the most of the tense moments that the player will live.

About the history of the game, it is known that, in the 70s of the last century, there was a Totalitarian Regime, called The Ministry, which reigned in the country where the game takes place.

Those were dark times and The Ministry was a very dark organization without any problems in committing atrocities and carrying out more inhuman initiatives on the people.

However, these more claustrophobic times have passed and after a few more years, the country is on the verge of joining the European Union. At least that's what the people want. But for that, there are secrets that have to be eliminated forever...

in Charon's Staircase, the player plays the role of a Secret Agent codenamed "Desmond" sent by The Ministry with a well-defined objective. Our task, if we accept it, is to recover and destroy secret documents related to a place called Oack Grove.

These are highly incriminating documents about the atrocities that took place there in the past, perpetrated by The Ministry and which must be destroyed urgently.

However, our adventure soon reveals something much more sinister, as we unravel another secret: Project Alpha.

And that's where our adventure begins, as the more we investigate, the more we discover about the sinister secrets that The Ministry hides there. There will also be many dangers and obstacles that we will find along the way and to discover the whole truth we will have to fight and solve various puzzles scattered throughout Oak Grove.

Charon's Staircase will be released for PC later this year, towards the end of the year. For PC.
