The name does not deceive or leave room for doubt. Horror Tycoon is a game that, being under development by Smidge Games, mixes strategy and management in a somewhat peculiar way. Horror Tycoon intends to simulate everyday life in a "House of Terror" type of fun (which was in the old Popular Fair).
According to those responsible, Horror Tycoon presents itself as a mix of Tycoon and Tower Defense game, in which the most macabre ideas of the players come to life to provide visitors to the attraction with the scares of their lives. Scares and more, as many of them will succumb to our Haunted House and its traps.
Our customers' nightmares will be like the fertilizer that will allow our business to flourish. The better and more sophisticated the scares and traps we propose, the better it will be for business and the reputation of our Haunted House will increase.
In order to create the best Haunted House ever, the player will have at his disposal a wide list of options and accessories. In this way, you can give free rein to your imagination to design and build attractions that, in an imaginative way, manage to give visitors a real fright.
Trapdoors, false walls, hidden passages, horror movie characters, sophisticated props, light effects, ... all this will be available to create the best and scariest moments.
The more and better scares we can nail our Haunted House, the more reputation you gain and the more reputation you gain, the more adrenaline-hungry customers. And that all means more money coming into the box.
