In the grand finale of “I’m a star – get me out of here!” on Saturday evening on RTL (also on RTL+), Filip Pavlovic (27) was crowned the new king of the jungle. The former “Bachelorette” candidate was able to win the favor of the viewers in the jungle camp – and thus prevailed in the first season from South Africa against his fellow campers Eric Stehfest (32) and Manuel Flickinger (33). The actor and the ex-“Prince Charming” candidate had no chance against Pavlovic, as RTL now shows.
Pavlovic has been leading the voting since day twelve in the jungle. 48.58 percent of the callers voted for him in a pre-final in the last issue. 28.17 percent called for Stehfest and 23.25 percent for Flickinger. The latter then dropped out as the third-placed participant. Also in the duel for the crown, there was a clear majority for Pavlovic, who received 63.69 percent of the votes, while 36.31 percent went to Stehfest.
A really tight semi-final in the jungle camp
It was all the closer the day before in the semifinals – after which Harald Glööckler (56) and Peter Althof (66) had to go. While Pavlovic also comfortably led the voting here with 32.35 percent, the third finalist was particularly tight. Flickinger made it to second place with 18.21 percent and the later Viceroy Stehfest came third with 16.74 percent. Just behind were Glööckler with 16.37 percent and Althof with 16.33 percent.
If the jungle camp had been over earlier, candidates other than the 27-year-old would have won. The designer Harald Glööckler was in first place in the voting on days eight and nine, standing firm on days ten and eleven. On the twelfth day at the camp, Pavlovic then took the lead throughout.
On Sunday evening, RTL shows from 8:15 p.m. “I’m a star – get me out of here! The big reunion”. Sonja Zietlow (53) and Daniel Hartwich (43), together with the camp residents, review the anniversary season in South Africa.
