The COVID-19 vaccine certificate can be downloaded by anyone who has administered both vaccines. It serves as proof that the person has been vaccinated against COVID-19. India’s vaccination campaign is in its third phase, in which all citizens over the age of 18 are eligible to receive the vaccine. As the country faces a severe vaccine shortage, all those who managed to obtain both doses of the vaccine can download their COVID-19 vaccine certificate online. The certificate can be downloaded from the Aarogya Setu app or through the CoWIN website. Both platforms are managed by the Government of India.
How to download the COVID-19 vaccine certificate
It is important to remember that the COVID-19 vaccine certificate can only be downloaded after receiving both doses. There are two COVID-19 vaccines currently in use in India. Covaxin is made by Bharat Biotech and Covishield is made by AstraZeneca/Oxford and made by Serum Institute of India. See how to download the COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
