Likes on social networks are, as has been studied, a metric that can negatively impact the mental health of users, as they are associated with some pressure. To solve this, Instagram decided, in 2019, to hide this information from publications.
Now, the user can choose whether to have access to the number of likes of a publication or not. If you don't want to, you can disable the information in the settings, as we will see below.
Note that you are hiding the likes for those who see your posts, so you will continue to have access to that number in yours.
Hide likes on Instagram posts
First, open your profile and access the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner.
access Definitions and Privacy.
click in publications and activate the option Hide likes and views count.
Now, the posts you see will not be followed by the number of likes, making your feed a little less
