How to share your location with family
Before you start, you'll need to add people to your family group if you haven't already. You can learn more about adding members in this article. Once the task is finished, just follow the steps below.
1. Go to "Settings" on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Click on your name, located at the top of the menu.
3. Then click on "Share with the Family" located immediately above the list of all your connected devices.
Here, you'll find all the family members you've added to the group. If you don't see anyone here, be sure to add members first before continuing.
4. Now click on "Share location".
5. This will take you to the "Find" menu. First, make sure the option is enabled. Then click on any of your family members in your group.
6. Now, just click on "Share location" and you're done.
Sometimes you may not want a family member to access your location. In that case, you can select the specific member from the same menu and choose "Stop sharing location".
