In addition to the new computers, Huawei has also just introduced a new monitor. It should be remembered that the manufacturer has long since expanded its product portfolio and today has a true ecosystem whose products work perfectly in an integrated manner.

MateView SE thus emerges as a new proposal in the peripheral segment and stands out from the start for its eye protection features and wide range of colors.

Huawei today announced the arrival of a new monitor that stands out for its inclusion of eye protection and a wide color gamut. Huawei MateView SE is 23.8 inches and has achieved TÜV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certifications as well as SGS Low Visual Fatigue certification.

The maximum screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD, supports 90% of the P3 color gamut and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut. The P3 color gamut is the recognized film industry standard and one of the current color standards for digital film playback devices.

Additionally, before leaving the production line, each Huawei MateView SE will be calibrated to ensure a color accuracy of ∆ E New eBook Mode with multiple eye comfort certifications

The Huawei MateView SE continues to explore new possibilities to ensure the user is comfortable and is the first in the Huawei monitor range to introduce eBook Mode.

This mode allows you to moderately reduce the color temperature, making the screen sharper for a paper reading effect, something that can reduce the negative effects of some tones on the eyes, leaving the reader more focused. In addition, it also relieves other eye discomfort from excessive time spent in front of the screen, preserving consumers' health.

With eBook Mode on, users can enjoy a more comfortable viewing experience, especially those who read or edit texts for long hours. By effectively reducing harmful blue light emissions as well as eye discomfort caused by flickering, this monitor provides comprehensive eye protection.

Thanks to the outstanding performance of the P3 color gamut and eBook Mode, Huawei MateView SE is also the first monitor in the world to obtain the SGS Low Visual Fatigue Certification issued by the National Institute of Standardization of China and the SGS organization.

In addition, this equipment supports a refresh rate of 75Hz. Compared to the 60Hz rate of other competing monitors, it offers a smoother visual effect. It is also equipped with AMD FreeSync™ technology, which uses adaptive sync technology to eliminate screen freeze, screen blur and screen-tearing with highly dynamic content for a smoother gaming experience.

The design of the Huawei MateView SE

The Huawei MateView SE continues the series by inheriting the minimalist design of the MateViews, but marking a new era of display aesthetics. Its sides look thinner and lighter, while the curved surface on the back gives it greater breadth. In addition, the display's FullView design and high screen-to-body ratio also contribute to a higher quality experience and wider field of view.

Huawei MateView SE support also provides multiple adjustments. Adjustable stand version ensures vertical rotation from 0 to 90 degrees, height adjustment, tilt angle adjustment and VESA wall mounting. Vertical rotation allows users to freely adjust the screen orientation, especially when performing office tasks such as reading; vertical orientation, in turn, allows you to display more content to greatly improve work efficiency.

Height adjustment from 0mm to 110mm and tilt angle from -5 to 18 degrees allows users to adjust the monitor to the viewing angle that suits them best, minimizing strain on users' eyes and spine. In addition, it also incorporates VESA wall mount holes with an individual bracket for wall mounting or for connecting multiple monitors to enhance the user experience.

Buttons on traditional monitors are often placed under or on the back of the monitor, making it difficult to control and press the correct button without seeing it. To answer this question, the Huawei MateView SE uses a five-way joystick button with a carefully designed OSD menu, allowing users to adjust parameters quickly and easily.

This equipment also features a direct-fitting input design, supporting the most common DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, which increases its image transmission capacity. Thanks to its direct plug-in design, users can simply plug in to connect or unplug to switch to other devices in order to optimize their efficiency and productivity.

price and availability

Still without a set date, the Huawei MateView SE should arrive next August. The price should be between €189 and €209.
