The month of February is usually weak in cinemas when it comes to high-rated movies. As it is a holiday and carnival month, traditionally the main studios leave their main productions for the following month.
Still, we have a total of 23 movies hitting the screens of the country’s main cinemas in the next few days. The main highlights are productions that debut in the second half of the month.
Uncharted: Off the Mapa film based on the hit PlayStation game, is the main attraction of the month. Licorice Pizzaan American production considered to be one of the favorites at the 2022 Oscars, is also another film that deserves your attention.
Finally, some cities in the country will host screenings of the film The Godfather, considered one of the most important of all time. In 2022 the production completes 50 years and will have a remastered version shown in theaters.
It is worth remembering that the schedule of cinemas is always subject to change and films scheduled to premiere on a weekend may not reach all Brazilian cities simultaneously.
