The launch of the Infinix Zero 5G India will take place on February 8, according to an insider. Some of the smartphone’s key specs have also been leaked. The Infinix Zero 5G is the company’s first 5G smartphone and is expected to support 13 5G bands. Infinix has already teased via an Instagram post that the phone will launch in India. However, the exact release date was not mentioned. Meanwhile, the phone’s design and triple rear camera were teased by Infinix India CEO Anish Kapoor.
according to a tweet by insider Abhishek Yadav, the Infinix Zero 5G will launch in India on February 8th. It also says the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, which will be paired with an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also says the phone will support 13 5G bands. The phone is claimed to be the brand’s first 5G-enabled smartphone in the country.
Meanwhile, Kapoor provoked a phone with an orange color on Twitter, believed to be Infinix Zero 5G. This is similar to the image posted by informant Abhishek Yadav in his previous tweet about the smartphone.
The development comes a day after media reports pinpointed the smartphone’s price and specs.

The Infinix Zero 5G smartphone is said to run Android 11 with the XOS 10 skin on top. It can sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The SoC can be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
There could be a triple rear camera setup that could include a 40-megapixel or 48-megapixel primary sensor, a telephoto sensor, and a wide-angle sensor. The Infinix Zero 5G is said to come with a 16-megapixel selfie sensor. Connectivity options on the Infinix Zero 5G can include 5G, NFC, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will also have a fingerprint scanner and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
