The new iPad Air may be launched this semester, together with the iPhone SE of third generation. The information was released by the Japanese website Macotakara, citing sources linked to factories of the product in China. It is expected that the apple introduce both products in the next quarter.

iPad Air 5: Processor Upgrade and All That’s Good

The Macotakara claims that the new iPad Air 5 will arrive with the powerful processor A15 Bionic, 12 MP ultra-wide selfie camera and 5G network. Furthermore, he is expected to have the Touch ID on the screen lock/power button. The technology is available from iPad Air 4 and is present in iPad Mini 6, launched last year and which is also equipped with A15 Bionic. The rear camera of the iPad Air 5 will not be updated, keeping the 12 MP lens. This camera’s flash should get an upgrade, receiving Quad-LED True Tone. The new iPad should shoot in 1080p.

the screen of iPad Air 5 will continue to be LCD. This information comes from the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, which says that the apple gave up using displays OLED. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman recently reported that the apple should launch a virtual event in March or April to announce the iPhone SE of third generation. Macotakara states that it will be in this event that the Cupertino manufacturer will present the new iPad Air.

What’s New on iPhone SE

The “input” model of the apple will have as its biggest novelty the processor A15 Bionic, the same as the iPhone 13 released last year. This processor is responsible for 5G technology on smartphone. The design will be the same as the iPhone 8, from 2017, with the traditional central button and Touch ID. Which is not such a big change for the audience. In the end, what matters is the hardware, and the A15 is a great component for the smartphone, along with 5G, of course. The differences in iPhone “cheap” will only arrive in 2024. It is expected that the apple update the design of iPhone SE two years from now, making it look like the iPhone XR and 11.
