With the launch of the series iPhone 13 one of the things that most caught my attention was the improvement of the apple on the battery of your smartphones, especially on high-end devices. Now the Cupertino giant does not intend to stop improving the energy consumption efficiency of its appliances, with the iPhone 14 coming with a new 5G chip, which promises to further reduce the battery consumption of this internet network.

O Economic Daily News points out that the TSMC had all the orders 5G RF chips made with its 6nm node reserved for the main models of iPhone released this year. This new chip promises to be smaller and consume less energy than those currently used, which promises to further increase the useful life of the next smartphones from apple.

You 6nm RF chips will have a Significant reduction in power consumption using the 5G and sub-6GHz bands, which will not only impact lower battery consumption, but also higher performance. You iPhone 14 not only will they have a better network and consume less, but because they are smaller chips, there will still be internal space left for other resources, such as increasing the models’ battery even more.

if the apple take advantage of this space increase the device battery a littleit is possible that the model presents an increase in battery life even greater than the models of the iPhone 13 series. But this will depend on what the company intends to do with this internal clearance, it can, for example, add some new sensor to some new feature for the device.

In addition to better connectivity to 5G and sub-6GHz networks, the new RF transeiver chip also will support WiFi 6E connectionwhich features better network performance, lower latency and faster data transfer speeds.

The portal WCCFTech points out that the applepreviously, was interested in using the Snapdragon X60 modem in the new iPhone 14how Snapdragon X65 being fitted to next year’s models. The company is reportedly seeking to separate from the Qualcomm soon to make their own modems by 2023.
