In autumn 2022, the iPhone 14 and its Pro version are due to hit the market. For the new flagship generation, Apple is planning some far-reaching innovations. According to the latest leaks, the developer wants to forego a notch, for example, but instead install the front camera in a circular hole in the display. Even more inconspicuous details such as Face ID change with the iPhone 14 Pro.
iPhone 14 Pro: Face ID apparently slips under the display
In the future, as has been speculated for a long time, Face ID will be placed under the display. The reason for relocating the Face ID is the aforementioned change in the design of the new Apple cell phone. After all, those sensors that were initially placed in the notch either have to be deleted or relocated.
Fueled by alleged leaks, this information has been circulating for months. The fact that the iPhone 14 dispenses with the notch has not yet been officially confirmed. The well-known Leaker @dylandkt confirms this rumor vehemently.
“I am able to corroborate information about a pinhole camera for the iPhone 14 Pro models. The Face ID hardware is placed under the display. To allay all concerns, the functionality of these sensors has not been affected by this change. “

Physical SIM slot is to be omitted
Apart from Face ID, Apple is apparently planning far-reaching innovations for its new flagship series. As early as December, @dylandkt reported that the American hardware and software developer was foregoing a physical SIM slot on the iPhone 14 (Pro). As a result, the new smartphone only uses the eSIM function.
