It is possible that Apple will raise prices for its Pro and Max models sharply in 2022. Samsung is also rumored to be doing the same with the S22 Ultra. Well-known industry insider LeaksApplePro claims that the iPhone 14 price will remain the same. The iPhone 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, should cost a lot more. The prices of the smaller iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Max are said to have increased a little more easily.

iPhone 14: price surfaced

The reason for the increase in the iPhone 14 price seems to be that Apple is planning some far-reaching innovations. The price difference between the iPhone 14 Max and the iPhone 14 Pro is only $ 100. When you factor in the all-new design and additional upgrades on the Pro models, that doesn’t seem like too much. But still: its upgrades are costing the group quite a bit overall.

  • iPhone 14: $ 799
  • iPhone 14 Max: $ 899
  • iPhone 14 Pro: $ 1,099
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: $ 1,199

“Apple is currently considering this. Production costs go up, and the difference between the 14 Max and the 14 Pro must be more than $ 100. That makes sense to me and I wouldn’t expect any changes. I will keep you up to date.”

How are the prices explained?

What could be behind this surge in iPhone 14 price remains to be seen. In the fall, Apple wants to present its new smartphones. New cameras, faster processors, a 120Hz display for the iPhone 14 Max and a completely new design for the Pro models with a punch-hole design instead of a notch are just some of the 2022 updates that are known so far.

Putting the Face ID under the display and piercing another pill-shaped hole with Samsung’s OLED laser cutting technology will add significantly to the cost Samsung charges for the panel. In addition, rumors are circulating about a new selfie camera. It is said to have a wider lens, so the new front design would increase the manufacturing costs of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) compared to the previous models.
