Jörg Pilawa’s (56) new Sat.1 show “Quiz für Dich” starts in March. The broadcaster has now announced this. The show will be available to watch from March 9th on Wednesdays at 8:15pm (and on Joyn). With the start of the quiz show, the presenter celebrates his debut on the TV station.

Pilawa explains his new Sat.1 show as follows: “In Germany, more than 16 million people are volunteers. In addition, there are many who have to cope with a new life situation due to a stroke of fate or who self-sacrificingly take care of others. They all get far too little appreciation. In ‘Quiz für Dich’ we play exactly for these people.”
In the show, two celebrity duos play for as much money as possible. The candidate suspects nothing. While the stars in the studio try to answer all the quiz questions correctly and drive up the winnings together, the potential winners are at home with an insider friend. Only when the winning amount has been determined does Jörg Pilawa suddenly appear on the host’s screen and surprise the candidate with the windfall.
In January it was announced that Pilawa had been transferred from NDR and ARD to Sat.1. changes – and thus celebrates a return. After starting his television career at ProSieben in 1994, he soon worked for Sat.1. There he moderated, among other things, a talk show and a quiz show. In 2001, Pilawa switched to ARD, later to ZDF. His best-known shows include “Quizduell”, “The New Year’s Eve Show with Jörg Pilawa” and “Quiz without Borders”.
