Street urchin Eggsy (Taron Egerton) is trained to be a British secret agent in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and proves his skills as a “modern day knight” in the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017). But that’s not the end of the agents’ adventure. With “Kingsman 3” Will the franchise continue to grow?
“Kingsman 3”: That could be it
There are no details about the content of Kingsman 3 yet. However, Matthew Vaughn has already teased that the sequel will conclude the trilogy with the relationship between secret agent Harry Hart (Colin Firth) and his pupil Eggsy (Taron Egerton). Matthew Vaughn told British film site Digital Spy: “We need to finish the story of Eggsy and Harry.”
It was not until December 2021 that the director spoke again of the third part and explained to Collider:
“[…] I’ve seen people love Eggsy and Harry’s relationship. We wondered what could be the ultimate reason they will either love each other or hate each other forever? That’s what this movie is about. Let’s just say it’s a matter of whether or not they’re going to do it.”

As a reminder, in Kingsman: The Secret Service, Harry saves the young man from prison and inducts him into his organization’s harsh recruiting program because Eggsy’s father once saved his life.
The director has several comic templates available for the finale of the main series: For example, “The Big Exit” takes place after Brexit and Eggsy brings gold bars to Brussels there.
This cast is to be expected
With Kingsman 3 set to finish Eggsy and Harry’s story, it’s pretty clear that Taron Egerton and Colin Firth will be returning to Matthew Vaugn’s lens for the sequel. Other actors are not yet known.
Theatrical release & FSK
It is not yet known when “The Kingsman 3” will be in cinemas. There is also no age rating. However, we assume that the third part will receive an FSK 16 – just like the predecessors and the prequel.
Kingsman 3 isn’t The King’s Man
To avoid confusion, director of previous Kingsman films Matthew Vaughn released a third film on January 6, 2022 called The King’s Man: The Beginning. This is a prequel to the series. So it deals with the history of the espionage organization and plays with other actors in the early 20th century.
As long as you wait for Kingsman 3, you can settle for the big screen movies in 2022.
