Lenovo Legion Y90, the back design of the company’s next gaming smartphone, was unveiled by the company on Friday. The device has been teased by the company in recent weeks on its Weibo account, giving enthusiasts an idea of what the phone will look like. The company has previously revealed that the next Lenovo Legion Y90 will feature a large 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED screen. Lenovo has not yet officially announced a release date for the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y90 smartphone.
On a teaser video posted by Lenovo on Weibo, the company showcased the design of the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y90 smartphone. The video shows the back of the smartphone from different angles, and the design is similar to the company’s Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, released in 2021. The Lenovo Legion Y90 also features a dual camera setup located in the center of the smartphone for better ergonomics .
Like the old Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y90 can also feature an RGB light in the form of the company’s Legion logo. Lenovo only briefly reveals the front of the smartphone in the video, and it looks like the smartphone will have a flat screen. The Lenovo Legion Y90 appears to sport a slim bezel at the top that houses the speaker grill, as well as a selfie camera in the upper-right corner.
Although Lenovo has yet to reveal the Lenovo Legion Y90’s hardware specs so far, including the processor that powers the smartphone. The Lenovo Legion Y90 will be equipped with a large 6.92-inch AMOLED E4 display with 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate, according to the company.
The company is also expected to release its Legion Y700 gaming tablet, which Lenovo had already announced in its Weibo account. The tablet will offer an Ultra-Wide 21:10 viewing mode, as per the company. The tablet’s screen is designed to show more content in games like Honor of Kings and League of Legends, where the extra screen space can come in handy. The Lenovo Legion Y700 is said to ship with a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood and can feature an 8.8-inch Quad-HD screen (2560×1600 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and touch sample rate of 240Hz.
