LG TVs Get Definitive Version of Game Streaming App, GeForce Now

the application of GeForce Now, gives NVIDIA, officially arrived at the LG TVs. The cloud gaming service from NVIDIA I was beta phase on the brand’s televisions since november 2021 and is now available in definitive format. The novelty was announced this Thursday (27) by the graphics card manufacturer itself, through the blog dedicated to the game streaming platform.

After a testing phase classified as successful by the brand, the LG TVs selected have the final version of the app of GFN. Another important novelty presented by the NVIDIA is that service subscribers now have available new options for upscaling resolution, which, according to the company, should allow for a sharper and more personalized gaming experience.

There are now three available scaling modes: Standard, which comes natively enabled and has minimal impact on system performance; enhanced, which provides a upscale higher quality, but which may interfere with latency depending on the available system; and AI-enhanced, it uses a neural network to sharpen the image for a more natural look.

It is important to note that the scaling that occurs with the aid of Artificial Intelligence is only available to members who play on PC with NVIDIA GPUs and SHIELD TVs selected.

How scaling works

THE upscaling Resolution works by applying sharpening effects that reduce blur and improve the appearance of the image. According to the NVIDIA, the new options can be applied to any game and changed as you play.

GeForce Now on LG TVs

The application GeForce Now was released in final version for select LG TVs and can be downloaded via LG Content Store. Service subscribers who own LG TV 2021 selected players have the possibility to enjoy around 35 free titles and more than 800 PC games from digital stores such as Steam and Epic Games Store, for example.
