The long-time co-juror Thomas Hayo (52) will return in the 17th season as a guest judge for “Germany’s next top model” and casting show boss Heidi Klum (48). The episode is currently being filmed with the creative director. On Instagram, the 52-year-old gives a little taste of what the aspiring models and fans can expect from this shoot in California.

A sports field with a football field, a running track around it and two stands in front of a bright blue sky serves as the stage. A sheet of green fabric has been rolled out on one side of the field, as Hayo shows in the photos and videos in his Insta stories. Other shots show the large crowd of employees, many cameras, spotlights, a tent for sun protection and the jury chairs with the names “Heidi” and “Thomas”.

“The Living Disco Ball”

And then Heidi comes into the picture. “There she is. Look at that. The living disco ball. Oh my god, I love this,” enthuses the New York native by choice in Denglish. What Hayo is referring to is Klum’s all-silver sparkly outfit, which consists of a fitted, sequined mini dress with a collar, padded shoulders, long sleeves, and an asymmetric hem. She wears silver overknee boots and mirrored sunglasses.

According to “Mail Online”, the eye-catching dress comes from the spring/summer collection of the label The Blonds. Entrepreneur Paris Hilton (41) already wore it in a Cruella de Vil version on the “Disney Villains x The Blonds NYFW Show” in 2018.

Already on Wednesday Heidi Klum and Thomas Hayo were seen in a good mood in casual outfits playing tennis, as the British newspaper shows.

Guest performances by the long-standing juror

From 2011 to 2018, Thomas Hayo, who was born in Saarland, sat firmly on the jury of the talent show. Last year he supported the candidates in preparing for their castings. And now he’s back as a guest judge.

The 17th season of “Germany’s next top model by Heidi Klum” has been running on ProSieben since February 3rd every Thursday from 8:15 p.m.
