Who has never spent hours choosing a movie, not sure what to watch? Or did you come home sleepy, wanting something to relax and get some sleep? Thinking about solving these common situations Marc Louvioun created the Mood2Movie website, a tool that indicates the most highly rated films by critics, according to their mood.

Discover the site and choose your next movie

If you are happy, angry, happy, sad, tense, alone, afraid or even feeling “strange”, Mood2Movie has some good indication for you. Louvioun, the creator, is a computer scientist from France and created the free tool to help the user when choosing the film. To receive the nomination, just click on any of the humor options and the site will show a feature film, with trailer, genres and a brief synopsis.

For example: when you click on the Cheerful mood, the first movie indication is The Lord of the Rings – The Fellowship of the Ring, the great fantasy classic of 2008. If you don’t like the tip, just select the Next arrow. ) to receive a new recommendation. From the layout of the site, we can see that it is a simple tool, just to help the user. Furthermore, it is important to point out that Mood2Movie is not a streaming platform.

Options for any time

If you click on Tense and Fearful moods, the site will indicate some calm animation or movie for you to watch. In the tests carried out here in the Connected World, when clicking on Feaful, the first movie recommended was the Disney animation Raya and the last dragon.

By clicking on Sleepy, the tool will indicate action-packed movies, as well as a long duration. Over here, the first two options were: Zack Snyder’s Justice League (the director’s cut with 4 hours) and Avengers: Endgame.

Now if you’re excited and feeling particularly excited, know that the tool doesn’t have any movie options to indicate. When clicking on the Horny option, the site opens a blank page with the phrase “I’m not sure if this is the site you should be on right now….”, making a little joke with the user.

Anyway, despite being simple, the site is an interesting option for when you have no idea what to watch and don’t want to spend hours in front of a streaming service not knowing what to choose.
