More than 5,000 people have taken the first dose after two weeks with a Covid passport

A total of 5,070 people have received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in the last two weeks since the introduction of the Covid passport to access nightlife and large events. This is a significant increase compared to those inoculated in previous weeks, where there were around a thousand first doses.

On the other hand, to date 214,349 booster doses have been administered against Covid in Aragon. Regarding the current vaccination campaign, the offer of first doses of vaccine against Covid-19 has been expanded in 061 on December 11 and 18, with the possibility of administering 1,500 doses each day.

In addition, the procedure to begin child vaccination against the coronavirus is being closed in the middle of this month, when 36,000 doses of vaccine will be received for this group. This will begin with those born between 2010 and 2012, that is, around 40,000 children. The administration of the doses will be carried out preferably in the health centers and other facilities already enabled for the vaccination campaign, through the self-appointment system. The opening of agendas will be carried out progressively from next week and will be informed when it is possible to request the appointment.

The Minister of Health, Sira Repollés, and the Director General of Public Health, Francisco Javier Falo, will expand the information on the childhood vaccination campaign this Friday at a press conference.
