Moto G22 specs pointed out by alleged Geekbench listing, may come with MediaTek Helio P35 SoC

The launch of the Motorola Moto G22 has yet to be officially confirmed by the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand. But before that, the device appeared on the Geekbench benchmark site. The latest development suggests that the new Motorola G-series smartphone could soon hit the markets. The alleged Moto G22 is listed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. According to the alleged Geekbench listing, the Moto G22 can run on Android 11. Recently, renders and key specs of another Motorola device – Moto G Stylus (2022) – have surfaced online.

An alleged listing on Geekbench, first identified by MySmartPrice, shows that the alleged Motorola Moto G22 could get an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM. The device scored 170 points in single-core tests and 912 points in multi-core tests on Geekbench. The listing screenshots further suggest that the anticipated smartphone can run on Android 11 out of the box. Regarding the SoC, the listing suggests four high-performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.30 GHz and four cores capped at 1.80 GHz.

However, the launch of the Moto G22 has not yet been confirmed by Motorola.

Recently, details of another Motorola-branded smartphone surfaced online. The Moto G Stylus (2022) smartphone is expected to debut in India with a price tag of Rs. 38,475.

Leaked renders of the Moto G Stylus (2022) hinted at a perforated screen design and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto G Stylus (2022) is expected to have a 6.81-inch screen. The handset can be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Other leaked Moto G Stylus (2022) specs include a triple rear camera unit, topped by a 48-megapixel main sensor. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery and a USB Type-C port. The Moto G Stylus (2022) is expected to measure 170.3×75.9×9.4mm.
