The new Netflix highlights are here. The streaming service publishes these 15 films and series every month. So also for February 2022. But that was not all. New on Netflix are also many other films and series. We tell you all these novelties for the coming month.
New on Netflix – The first five highlights
First we have summarized the first five films and series of the Netflix highlight list for February 2022 for you:
#1 “Raising Dion” (Season 2, on February 1st)
This series is a Netflix Original and is very popular. The story is about a single mother named Nicole and her son Dion. One day she learns that Dion has supernatural abilities. Now Nicole faces a major challenge: she must find out how her son developed these skills and, more importantly, how he can control them.
But a greater task awaits them.
Dion’s abilities attract evil. There are some people who want to take advantage of his abilities. Nicole wants to protect her son from this at all costs.
#2 “Jackass 3” (on February 1st)
If you like watching crazy stunts, then Jackass is the movie for you. Dangerous stunts, pranks and dares are always performed in the Jackass films. The actors are always different in the films. However, all participants are stunt professionals who know what they are doing.
Nevertheless, the male troupe from “Jackass 3” does pretty daring and crazy things. This can already be inferred from the trailer:
#3 “Top Gun – They fear neither death nor devil” (on February 1st)
It’s not without reason that Netflix includes this old film in its collection. “Top Gun” was a hit in the 80s. And now, in May of this year, the sequel “Top Gun: Maverick” will be released. Since the movie builds on the sequel, Netflix is doing us a favor and allowing us to bring Top Gun back to our minds.
The film is about two top Navy pilots named Maverick and Goose who make it to the Top Gun station. Only the most talented pilots who deliver outstanding performance receive training at this station. And not without reason. As part of their training, the two pilots also have to embark on dangerous missions.
#4 “The Tinder Swindler” (on February 2nd)
This Netflix original is a documentary series. It’s about the notorious Tinder swindler who seduces women and cheats them out of millions.
As Netflix itself writes, this documentary is the “perfect fairytale-turned-horror story.” The negative, dangerous sides of online dating are exposed. And that under the motto “One swipe could change your life”:
#5 “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (Season 7, out February 6th)
If comedy and cop series appeal to you, then Brooklyn Nine-Nine is definitely for you. The main action revolves around the cops of the 99th Precinct of the New York Police Department in Brooklyn. Not only do they uncover crimes, they sometimes become involved in them themselves. It’s also about the lives of the characters and their relationships to each other.
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” offers everything your heart desires: comedy, police work, romance and lifestyle. And now we can look forward to the seventh season of the series.
