Following the recent trend in the smartphone market, it looks like the new Galaxy S22 Ultra will not come with a charger. According to information published this Wednesday (05), by the leaker Roland Quandt, the Samsung plans to sell a 45W charger model separately.

The accessory images (code EP-T4510) have been posted online and reveal a compact size, with USB-C to USB-C type connection. The charger is capable of delivering 5A and its cable is 1.8 meters long.

Despite being bad news for those who don’t have a charger (or even for those hoping to change a more powerful one), the existence of the accessory shows that the new Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones will support fast charging technology. Including, a Rumor from July this year pointed to support up to 65W, something that has yet to be confirmed by Samsung.

In the United States, the expectation is that the product will cost approximately 50 dollars (the same value as the current 25W model).

What to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S22

In addition to information about the recharge capacity, this week we also had new leaks that seem to have confirmed the final design of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. With language very close to the note line, the device will feature cutting-edge specs, including an Exynos 2200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (depending on launch territory).

THE main camera will have a resolution of 108 MP and a coating technology called Super Clear Lens, probably referring to the material used for the lens. There will also be two additional lenses for up to 10 times optical zoom, a 12 MP Ultra Wide camera and a 40 MP front camera.

Interestingly, RAM seems to have been reduced to 8 and 12 GB configurations. The leaker Ice Universe claims that in the US there will be a third version also with 16 GB. Storage will start at 128GB and will go up to 512GB. Finally, the Galaxy S22 Ultra battery should have a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

Samsung announced the Galaxy S21 in January 2021. The announcement of the next generation is expected to take place during a Samsung Unpacked event, probably in February 2022.
